Troubleshooting
If a treatment resists, binds, frays or makes an unusual sound, stop operating it and contact us. Do not disassemble installed hardware or motorized components.
Confirm power or batteries, check the selected remote channel and make sure the treatment is free of obstructions.
Stop operating the shade and do not pull or force it. Take a photo and contact ShadesPlus so we can protect the fabric and mechanism.
Check for objects between slats or louvers. Operate gently; resistance can indicate alignment or hardware that needs service.
Confirm the track is clear and fabric is not caught on furniture. Avoid forcing carriers or pulling directly on the panels.

Care & cleaning
Dust gently with a clean microfiber duster. Vacuum fabric treatments only with a clean brush attachment on low suction.
Test in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid saturating fabrics, harsh cleaners, abrasives, bleach and strong solvents.
Use a dry or barely damp soft cloth, then dry immediately. Do not allow moisture to collect around hinges or finishes.
Contact us before deep cleaning blackout fabrics, specialty weaves, drapery, motorized shades or custom-printed materials.
Motorization help
A factory reset can erase limits, channels, groups and smart-home settings. Start with power, batteries and the selected channel; then call or text us before changing programming.
